Senator Ahmed excited over K4KNM visit

The Chairman of Kwara North Stakeholders/Elders Council and former Senator representing Kwara North (2003–2011), Senator Ahmed Inuwa Mohammed (Wazirin Yashikira), has expressed delight over the initiative of the Kwara for Kwara North Movement (K4KNM) advocating for a power shift to Kwara North in 2027.

The elder statesman made this known when a delegation from the movement paid him a familiarisation visit at his residence in Ilorin. He commended the group for its commitment to equity by championing the call for the zoning of the governorship seat to Kwara North.

Senator Ahmed urged the movement to conduct its activities peacefully and with decorum, assuring them of his full support whenever needed.

Earlier, the Team Lead of K4KNM, Soliu Shola Galadima, explained that the movement was birthed out of the desire to promote unity and fairness in the state through political inclusion—particularly by advocating for the zoning of the governorship to Kwara North in 2027.

Galadima stressed that there is ample evidence, clear and compelling to all fair-minded Kwarans, that Kwara North deserves the opportunity to produce the next governor. He said the visit was aimed at formally introducing the movement to the Stakeholders/Elders Council and exploring avenues for collaboration. He appreciated the elder statesman for the warm reception.
